Bowie's has had my bow for 2 weeks, don't have the needed parts yet, and can't give me any idea when they'll be in.

Is there another archery shop in the area you guys revommend?

A guy I work with uses one in hammond. He says it's top notch. I've never been so no first hand info. Can't think of the name.

Lets be frank, you brought your bow to the shop 2 weeks before bow season. What do you expect? Were the last 7 months too busy?

But I agree, Bowie's sucks and needs competition.

Is Chalmette too far for you?

I use spillway sportsman and don't have any complaints. I've also had great service with Austin outdoors in Opelousas also if you don't mind the drive.

Archery and Fishing in Hammond has been doing it for 20 years. Jamie knows his stuff and is one of the nicest people in the business. However, its peak season now and he has his hands full. Count on waiting there or anywhere else you go right now.

This is the shop I used when Bowie's told me two weeks to install dropaway rest on my bow. Archery Unlimited installed rest, paper tuned my bow plus cut me some arrows to length, while I waited.

Well Jack, since you insist on being an a-hole..no, I wasn't too busy for the last 7 months. I was in CO on an elk hunt and a part on my bow broke so I took it in to get fixed. Things happen. Go F yourself.
