Won't happen, can't stand those frickers, that's what my old bow had on it when I first shot it, before it was mine. I think he broke 2 of them before putting a meta peep on there

Just twist it back yourself while you are practicing. You'll be wasting your time if you keep taking it back to get it adjusted.

ETA once your string is settled in take your bow back to get the peep set. It would be a good idea to measure the ATA and BH on your bow before you take it to make sure it's in spec. That way you can have them add or remove twists in your string and cable accordingly.

As long as I'm not tied up with some judy's I'm shooting and drinking beer.

As far as the peep bullshite goes, it'll get better with shooting. Just part of having a self-aligning peep.

A few comments. I went to it because of a specific event. My bow was fine. String was not new. One afternoon, the guys and I were shooting from the camp porch at grackles landing on a corn spill from about 60/70 yards. The bow and peep could not have worked better.

Next morning, a HUGE buck chases a doe across the slough I'm on and stops about 10 yards from me. I drew while he was in the water grunting his arse off. Never saw or heard me. Peep is slap sideways. It had not done that since the first week of that string's life. I pretty much had to guess where to aim. Hit him high...

The no-peep showed me some form errors. It has improved my grip tremendously. I now shoot with a slick-arse micro fiber glove. That prevents the wood grip from grabbing skin and makes sure the grip settles properly. If it doesn't, the noPeep tells you. A string peep will not.

It's not for everyone. Mung gave up on his. I've never shot better in my life though.

Oh, and I kept losing deer in low light. He's there, then look through peep, and he's gone.

This seems to be the consensus from everything I've read about them. I just know my form stinks. I get inconsistent. I know my grip sucks too, I'm having a hard time getting used to the skinny grip of my new bow. I may try the no peep deal sometime in the future. It's too close to the season for me to change things up now though.

That sucks about the buck. Similar to what happened to me last season, except the climber rail was in my way. Now do you see why I hate the rails? Did you find the buck? Did the arrow pass through?

It's a HUGE pain to set up. DO NOT do it now.

You were doing it wrong. The front rail should be no different than the side ones.

No. Fletching against hair.

Actually on the Goliath the front rail should be lower than the sides. It wasn't. I had it set up wrong. I was hoping I never had to admit that

I'll probably be trying it again this season. I wanted something lighter but I can't spend a whole lot right now and the bushmaster is only 3 lbs lighter. I'll probably just buy some molle straps and a bow holder for the Goliath and set the seat as high as I can for bow season. And practice out if it prior to October.
