American woodcock. It’s the slowest flying gamebird but is challenge to shoot because of the terrain they live in. Also the brain is positioned upside down from other birds position

Woodcock.
Fun to hunt and damn good in a gravy. Very dark meat but not gamey. Weirdest looking gut of any fowl I've ever seen.

Do woodcock tend to go to the same location every year? I found a spot a few years ago that was full of them. Just need someone like wick to put the dogs on them.
