Does smallmouth taste just like largemouth?

These fish are coming out of cold clear water. Very clean tasting, especially when grilled with a little seasoning and lemon.

I live close to a lot of great smallmouth fisheries. But for whatever reason I have never cooked one.

I honestly haven't ever really thought about cooking smallmouth, which is kind of strange since we eat largemouth pretty regularly. On the trips I've been on for smallmouth I never even considered keeping them to cook.

Beautiful fish Weagle. They really are beautiful when they have that vibrant bronze color.
