Mine:
If you’re doing the right thing, you’ll know really quickly. If you’re doing the wrong thing, it will take hours to figure it out.

In other words, if you don’t get bit quickly doing something, you need to keep changing (either bait or location) until you figure it out.

Too many times we keep staying with patterns too long and fish history but the quicker you can realize something is not working, the quicker you can discover something that is.

Any color of plastic worm is good, as long as it’s purple.

Heavy lures are easier to throw but light, slow sinking lures are more effective.

There's a reason it's called fishing and not catching.

90% of the fish are in 10% of the water, so use search baits to cover water and once you find one, fish that spot.

And one is luck and two is a pattern, so if you have two bites you are on to something whether that is a retrieve motion, color, etc.

You can't catch fish on the sofa and you can't catch them turning 5000 RPMs. Get out there and fish.

Most lures are designed to catch fishermen, not fish.

Also, the only thing dumber than bass are bass fishermen. I am a bass fisherman
