I use a mod or i mod but I shoot a lot of shells. Light mod is one of my favorite chokes on the planet.

He shoots okay. We shoot clays together on occasion; so he gets some practice in. We just never do much hunting.

Best bet is to pattern your gun with different loads to see which works best for you. I do fine with a modified barrel but load can make a difference.
