What if it's tall pasture grass but relatively flat. Could I have someone come out with a tractor and cut it once and then keep up with it with the ZTR?

What if it were 7 acres?

A smaller tractor with a finishing mower may be a better option. It's more expensive and needs more room to turn around, but with the pto you could get a real bushog also

I have 5.31 and have ztr. had a tractor come out a few times to get it down and now I have no problems.

We have a Scag that we use to mow all of our family's yards. We've had it for 4 years and it mows +/- 25 acres every week. All we've ever done is changed fluids and changed blades. Its a beast

Or a stand on mower which allows you to adjust your body weight to manage the terrain.
