While dropping off a doe my best bud arrowed yesterday the processor had this beautiful 13 point in.
Double brows on one side, opposite end of main beam flared out into three tines....just a lifetime type of buck.

Was dudes first time ever deer hunting, 30 minutes into his first hunt. (Insert head banging emoticon)

Yes.... I officially had antler envy/jealousy. LOL

Perhaps, some people are just born with a horseshoe up their arse! My buddy is one, we are going to Montana next week to mule deer hunt and I've been teasing him that he is going to kill a state record when he opens the door on the car the first day we are there LOL, no rifle necessary.

You could shoot the same deer for a small fee. Money talks

That actually kinda sucks. I'm glad my first deer wasn't a big wall hanger, and I slowly worked up towards it. It would have spoiled me too much.

had first time hunter showed up with rifle in box- scope in another-we set him up and put him on stand just off (100 yards)road that half of us traveled to get to stands -Picked him up and he asked if his deer was ok -150 plus perfect 10 point- anyone would mount- put him back on same stand that evening - picked him up and he had twin of first deer and two big hogs - that night after cleaning he asked what we should do next day - I told him to go into town and sell gun he would never be satisfied again hunting

Guess I'm guilty of having dat horseshoe up my arse, on my first ever hunt, uncle tells me to stay near this falling tree in two feet of water while they make a drive in the basin, young me in my dads leaky hip boots and a borrowed 308 shot a big 7 point buck at 3 yards in self defense while sitting on that tree trunk. The deer was about to jump that tree trunk and kill me in the process. My uncle and dad tell me that men hunt a long time to kill one that big. I'll never forget the sight and sound of that buck running through that water. Hooked me on a lifetime of deer hunting.
A year and a day later I killed a bigger 8 point buck with a borrowed 12gs with buck shot at 5 steps while sitting on the trunk of a fallen tree on dry land this time...

So the moral of your hunting life to be successful is:

1. Always borrow a gun, never use your own.
2. Always sit on a fallen tree trunk to hunt.
