Shameless plug for my uncle, Jim Stinson, who is featured on this episode. Call maker and OG White River hunter in Clarendon, AR. Its a good listen.

Bear Grease is by far the best podcast around. Clay is a great story teller. If your a Where the Red Fern Grows person listen to his two part episode on the history of the book. Phenomenal listen for a guy who grew up running dogs with his great grandfather.

I've started this one, but not only got about 15 minutes in. Great podcast, that's all I lack being completely caught up.

Thank you everyone. He talks about his dad a lot, which is my grandfather.
That man hunted religiously until the day he died a few years ago. 90 something years old with a pistol grip 10 gauge, a speck call and a bottle of "antifreeze" (Fireball)

Had the opportunity to meet Mr. Stinson once and he's a great guy. I'm a big fan of the calls made by David Gaston, the other guy Jim references as being taught by Alvin Taylor.
Jimbo Ronquest is a first-class guy as well. Love Clay's podcasts.
