Ville Platians can f up anything! Invite one into your deer lease, any deer lease and see how fast they ruin it. Chicot won't have a fish left in 6 weeks.

Or maybe just move the slot down a little bit.. I like the idea of not being able to keep anything you catch

Ya think? Funny they went from allowing 24 yo yos to 50 per boat at Chicot. Think they know something you don't?

based on my experience, I don't agree with this at all...

yoyos are legal in la and illegal in ms...I see no difference in the fisheries between the two states....

I just moved about two miles away from Spanish lake. Does any one fish it. I tried a coupl of times no luck. Just wondering if it worth my time. Really I here it was over fished and the sac a lait was wiped out. Never seen a bass out of it neither. But I haven't given it much time

Vernon Lake

90% of the fish I have caught on that lake were sloters, game changer right here, time to fill up the freezer.

I'm not speaking for all Ville Plattians but I think your putting a lot of good sportsmen under the same umbrella as the trashy ones from this area. There are plenty of folks from here who respect nature and others in hunting clubs and cause no problems.

On the other hand, a Yan from Mamou can be just as bad as a trashy Ville Plattian. So

Back on topic: Chicot will always have plenty of fish as long as the grass stays under control.

I can tell you two places where catch and release never caught on: Avoyelles and Evangeline. I've had people come check to see if I was ok when they saw me release a 3lb bass.
