Yea those things are just as shitty. My fiance's uncle has one. The damn steering case cracked on it with less than 20 hours on the thing. AND Argo wouldn't cover it on the warranty. POS....
yep, they ought to throw in a pair of walking shoes with the purchase. Or how does the Dodge joke go...they should throw in a puppy so you won't be lonely on the walk home when the hunk of shite breaks down.

Didn't know what a BBB was until I Googled it. First page of returns has a Consumer Products Safety Commission nationwide recall from 2011. The recall notes that there were previous national recalls in 2009 and 2010. That pretty much tells me all I need to know about the brand.

Almost bought one last year, got kind of a bad feeling about the whole deal for some reason and ended up passing on it. Really glad I did after seeing this thread.

Ever since BBB got sold to EZ Go it has been crap.
Actually they were crap before that.

I had a 48 volt electric (I think all of them were, prior to the sale to EZ Go). BBB knew that these buggies would "stampede" (run away without the driver touching the gas pedal), but never contacted owners with a recall notice.

Mine stampeded at a sporting clays shoot with a friend (who was also a very good client) in the passenger seat. The only way I stopped it was by turning off the "ignition" switch and flooring the brake pedal.

When I dropped it off at the nearest EZ Go dealer (in Hammond), there was a big poster on the wall announcing the recall. The dealer knew all about the recall. I'm the one who almost rammed a pine tree at full throttle -- but BBB never sent me a notice.

The dealer in Hammond eventually (5 months later) fixed the cart. In the meantime I bought a 48 volt Beast. Sold the BBB (with full disclosure) as soon as I got it back.

No more BBB's for me. Ever.

You need to meet with a lawyer and see if the law is applicable in your situation. If so, I'd have him send a demand letter to the dealer and the company with a deadline to comply. If it doesn't apply, I'd take it back to the original dealer with a list of everything that is wrong (I'm assuming it's under warranty) and do not take it back until everything is fixed completely. Don't just take their word that it's fixed. Drive it all over their lot and make sure. And badger the hell out of them to get it all done. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Yes, I love it down there. Bow season is only 2.5 weeks away! I bought it in Monticello, but the bad thing is the dealer has been our "friend" for 8 years. You would think he could coax the company into giving us a refund

I don't know any of those guys. I only knew the owners and staff when they were Natchez based. Good luck.

Which Part of the County do you hunt? My parents live over in East Lake Sinclair. They have a nice ten pointer cruising through their back yard which I am hoping to get a shot at this season.

We bought a bad boy 4 years ago for our camp. Loved it the first year.
Had to replace batteries second year along with the seat. Then the steering decided to have a lot more play in it than usual.
Brakes go out third year. Seat falls through its brackets it sits on bc the plastic was cracking.
This year the charger connector and bad boy charge port connector melted together for some reason almost catching fire.

Oh and forgot to mention the 4 wheel drive went out year two. The computer that controls that is like $1800 so we said screw 4 wd

Other than that it's super quiet and if it worked properly would be my favorite thing to deer hunt off of.

I like how you start your presence on the TD.COM with the period, the full stop. Then go to a full-open, runon blast of text.

Well done, sir. MAGA

quote:

THE PERIOD, FULL STOP OR POINT

The period (known as a full stop in British English) is probably the simplest of the punctuation marks to use. You use it like a knife to cut the sentences to the required length. Generally, you can break up the sentences using the full stop at the end of a logical and complete thought that looks and sounds right to you.

MARK THE END OF A SENTENCE WHICH IS NOT A QUESTION OR AN EXCLAMATION

EXAMPLES

Rome is the capital of Italy.
I was born in Australia and now live in Indonesia.
The Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people.
INDICATE AN ABBREVIATION

Many abbreviations require a period. Dr, Mr, Mrs, and Ms do not take a period in British English, nor do most abbreviations taken from the first capital letters such as MA, Phd, or CIA. In American English, some of these do require periods or both usages are correct (with and without periods). If you require 100% accuracy in your punctuation, refer to a detailed style guide for the abbreviation usage rules in the variety of English you are using.

EXAMPLES

I will arrive between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.
We are coming on Fri., Jan. 4.
