Looking for a new set of tires for a Honda 420 2 wheel drive. More aggressive than stock, but not trying to break the bank. Will mount to stock rims.

TIA

589s

This is the answer if you can find them. Just bought a foreman and put some Bighorns on it. They are a great all around tire.

I have 589s on a Rancher and Zillas on a Rincon. Both have been good tires. The 589s will wear better if you are going to be riding on concrete at all. It's been a few years since I bought mine and the cheapest place I found was Rocky Mountain Atv.

They have free shipping on orders over $75, I got the 589s mounted on the factory rims at a local tire shop. The Zillas are on aftermarket rims.

ETA: i didn't know the 589s had been discontinued.

I really like it, however I wish I would have gotten the 4wd. Got it stuck three times this weekend and 4wd would have been useful. I grew up on a 250, so to step up to the 420 was amazing.

Yea pretty much what's been said here. You'll do well with some 589's or Mudlites on there. I've got Mudlites in 26"X9" on front and 26"X10" on rear, though many go with the 12" wide versions on the rear end. Mine are on my stock rims on my Foreman 4WD.

Buying them somewhere online probably your best $$ savings

Opted for the Zillas. Any idea who can mount them in BR for the cheapest?
