Not here yet. Doc originally thought he was going to induce yesterday but turns out its going to be Friday! Stuck in the hospital all week but it beats working!

Spent many nights in hospitals with expectant Mom. I would rather fight the devil than do that again, your job must be turrible
Good luck, there will be a more comfortable cot/bed setup for you somewhere in that hospital....buy all the nurses ands staff pizza tonight and doughnuts in the morning. They will hook you up. Will make your stay twice as pleasant.

This. I spent $40 on a badass cookie tray for the NICU when our twins went in. Our stay was unreal. We left with $500 worth of formula alone. Well spent $40 I'd say

They never forget a few goodies. Sure helps when you want a fresh pot of coffee
My wife is an OB nurse and knew all of them, but a little bribery goes a long way. Especially when you need more of those special hospital pacifiers a few months down the road.
To the OP, get lots of those peach and pacifiers. The peach ones smell like vanilla...they love those.

1. Ask the nurse for a large cup of ice.
2. While she is getting that go grab a coke out of the vending machine
3. Take that bottle of crown out of the bag that you packed it in when you left the house
4. mix a nice double tall crown and coke and tell the nurse to keep the ice coming
It is going to be super stressful so the drinks will help a lot but watching your baby boy come into this wold will be the most awesome experience that you have every been part of to date...FACT!

The hospital we had our kids at had people on staff that provided manicures, pedicures, rubdowns, and other comforting spa like things. Of course they were all paid services but it really helped to relax my wife the day after a long hard day of work.

Think you need the social security numbers so might have to wait a couple months. I just ordered our 8 month old boys each a lifetime combo but cant remember for sure if I needed them.
