He does have some cerakoted complete builds though. They are high quality and well-priced.

I've been told to stay away from armalite because of parts being non interchangeable with other mfgrs. These days you can get great guns for under 800. Also buy all the ammo and magazines you can get your hands on. A spare lower parts kit and BCG is a good idea.

You can consistently find the new M&P S2 right @500
That doesn't seem true.
You're a lot better served searching online.

Thats their AR10s. During the AWB, armalite adapted their magazine well and a few other parts to accept modified M14 magazines. They do now offer the same setup as DPMS since magazines are available.

Went ahead and just got the Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II today.
Put a lower end red dot on for now until I figure out what I may want to do with it after playing around with it a bit.
Can't wait to go out tomorrow and put a few rounds thru it!

Whoever told you this didn't know what they were talking about.

Loved mine (before the boating accident). Thing was humming straight out of the box Just using the factory iron sights I was drilling the target from 80-100 exactly where I wanted it to go.
You made a good choice
