Is it tough to find ammo for?

No. I have an AKMS. 22-24 cents per round which is cheaper than factory 5.56. Always at the shops I frequent. AKs shoot steel ammo very well.

I agree with bbvdd. Building one is fun and you learn alot about the gun by researching. Built my 300

Billet lower
Mega upper
9 inch Ballistics advantage barrel
Troy sights
8" SLR solo hanguard
Emod stock
AD mount with Leupold 2*7 VX-R scope

I don't remember exactly. Including the scope and mount and tax stamp probably around $1750. The scope and mount is around $650 buy itself and tax stamp for SBR is $200.

As mentioned earlier are you open to building one? I built my first one earlier this yr with a set of punches and a flathead screw driver for $420. All mil-spec and works great. If you are just looking for one to go bang and empty a mag real quick, try building one. Larry Lisp the pedo walked me through the entire lower build.

Okay then. I corrected it.
What would you do with a $2000 budget?

Well I just bought a Noveske for a bit more than $2k. Uhhh, I would save a bit more and get an AD16 pdw when the re-release under Nous Defions. Check out the facebook page Arsenal Democracy and you know what I am talking about. It is the one I posted to the thread on the last page.

Yeah, on that rifle is an aimpoint micro. I believe they were using the Leupold mk6 on those guns as well.

I love Leupold scopes. I have one on my .243.
What kind of crosshairs does your model have?
