I get 2 or 3 "clicks" a year with my sbe2 during duck season. Not sure what the problem is. I've just learned to accept it.

WTF. This is why I don't buy high dollar hunting guns. I have an 870 express and has never failed to fire in 16 years and a couple thousand rounds

It wouldn't really bother me if it just happened duck hunting on a few ducks I probably would have missed any way

Happening twice in 2 minutes on 2 different gobblers, is something completely different to me

That's the 700. And it always fires, whether you want it to or not

lol or the way the 870 loves to rust.

It's part of a semiauto that we accept. They will never be as reliable as a punk. But a pump will never be as smooth shooting and quick back on target.

It's kind of like revolver versus pistol. But their is a reason I never recomend a semiauto as a homedefense shotgun if someone is set on a shotgun.

You're not giving enough credit to the 1100-G3, whoops, that one couldn't stay together after a few thousand rounds. There's the 105 CTI, oh wait, Remington's bad, we fixed it, now it's the 105 CTI-II, wait, that one doesn't work either, pull it off the market. Let's move on now to the "DO NOT FIRE YOUR VERSAMAX, IT MAY KILL YOU" recall.

Not done yet. Let's discuss the R-51, wait, they pulled it too for being such a huge POS, now it's back on the market, worse than ever. How bout that RP-9? Failing to fire a completely full magazine is definitely what I require from my pistols.

My jealousy runs deep for the 870, as you can tell.

ETA - I almost forgot, the 887! Even Turkey (the country known for shite firearms) has never shite out a gun as poorly made as the 887.

I can't stand to shoot a semi auto. Pumping is like a hitch in my shooting that I need

My 870 has been submerged in salt water. It'll rust, but I always took care of it.

Yeah their new products suck, and I will likely never buy again. I think I remember buying this gun in 2002. I have a 700 ADL that will never be fired again unless the trigger is changed. I have had one of those accidental discharges. Killed a deer when it happened doe

After the 2nd click I would have thrown the SBE at the turkey.

FWIW, you can send them back. The only stories I've heard about repairs and sending them back to the factory was because parts wore smooth from tens of thousands of rounds.

Sounds like you may have a broke or worn firing pin. Although odd if don't shoot it a ridiculous amount.

After going through nearly three cases a season yeah ok.

I wouldn't have anything to blame me missing on if my gun didn't ever jam.
