What make/model and would you prefer an aftermarket?

Call everything kayak in Gulfport. They have a guy that can build you one to fit. Cheaper than most aftermarket ones

I would imagine so. Doesn't hurt to give him a call. I know the hobie ones are a lot $$$ more than his. I watched him start on one and it looked nice

DSD has a pretty sweet setup and could be made pretty easily. Paging DSD...

Jackson Big Tuna has a recessed compartment that they say you can drill holes into thus making it a live well. But I suppose then that's all you can use it for. It's a pretty sweet rig and will be my next upgrade.

I thought you would have to have water circulating for a livewell to work....

Check out zoffinger on YouTube. He custom made his own for a pelican I believe.

The only kayak model I know of with a true built-in circulating live well is the Malibu Stealth. Its a great concept, a good design, but from a shite company. Their warranty service sucks and will need to be used at least once if you buy one. Their designs are fine, but the products that actually make it to the "shelf" leave something to be desired. Inconsistent hull shape, badly fitting hatches and loose fitting hardware all create significant issues after a bit of use.

Never seen a Malibu where the front hatch actually fit properly.

Some guys drill holes in the Big Tuna compartment and just keep one without holes in it on the side for when they want it dry.
