Happened to me yesterday -- for the first time since I started carrying (couple of decades).

Went in for "arterial scan." Apparently the scanner can see thru shirts.

You probably don't want to be strapped when getting an MRI either

I carry everywhere.

During one particular doctors visit I discovered I would be getting an injection in the hip err . . arse. I informed the nurse I was packing so she wouldn't freak out when I raised my shirt. No problems.

Wait- I thought Glocks didn't have any metal in them.

My "clue" that the scanner picked up my pistol was when the tech told me we were finished, and then asked me "What kind of gun is that?"

I answered, "It's personal." Then he said, "We could see it on the screen, and were just wondering what caliber it is."

Realizing I'd been made, I told him it was 9mm and wished him Merry Christmas as i left.

Waiting for a table at a restaurant, a guy passed in between a family member and I, bumping against me. Knowing he hit my shield, I immediately turned around. He continued to walk away but looked at me, patted his back side, and gave me a thumbs up.

Either he liked the way my wranglers fit or it was just a subtle "I'm carrying too, good job baw." I assumed the latter.

You have most likely been "made" quite a few other times, they just did not mention it.

I had a glock 30 IWB and had a toddler fall into me as I was sitting in a chair at a restaurant. He came from behind and completely surprised me. At first I thought someone was grabbing for it so I was startled.

He slammed his head on the slide and looked at me like "wtf are you made of?" His mom (oblivious that he had just Head butted a block of metal) couldn't understand why he took so long to gather himself.

I don't know what it's called. I just know the sound it makes when it takes a man's life.

I carry a lot and used to be nervous about people seeing it and so forth, but now I just don't even care anymore. I'm not doing anything outside my rights and I'm licensed so if they see it so be it. Might make it to were I don't ever have to pull it out.

This is a concealed carry zealots wet dream. You got to carry concealed, have another person acknowledge you are carrying concealed, be smug, and then go home and tell everyone about how you carry everywhere, even doctors offices
