And if so, has it hindered your outdoor pursuits at all? Seems to be the most reliable truck out there, just wondering how it fits into your lifestyle.

250K still going strong. As
Far as hinder I’m not sure how it would other than pulling something large over a long distance.

I don’t own one because of limited storage and towing capacity. If I had one, I think I’d have to have a camper top. I just pack too much stuff. The towing capacity is the real deal breaker though.

I have a 2017 TRD offroad with 6 speed manual and may never buy another truck again. If you're 6'4 maybe not the truck for you but its handled anything I've thrown at it. The heaviest thing I've towed with it is a 3200lb boat and you can definitely feel it back there but never felt unsafe with it. I do wish the bed was longer but full cab with manual only came with short bed.

THIS

I had a 2015 Taco. Made it through one deer season and cut bait. A have a lease in Illinois and a buddy of mine and I take turns driving back and forth. That Taco looked like the Clampets going up the road. After season was over I sold it and bought a Tundra. Never looked back. I can haul all I want to haul and can pull anything that I want/need to pull.

Having said all that, I don't think you can ever go wrong with a Toyota. My work vehicle is a 2016 Rav4 with 230k miles on it. I drive that douche-rocket everywhere and have no issue taking it on road trips.

At one time I was thinking of getting an old Jeep for hunting out of, but then I concluded my Tacoma gets me everywhere I need to go. It doesn’t take up much more room in the woods than a Ranger. It’s quiet which I love for turkey hunting when I’m driving along, stopping every couple hundred yards and calling. So far I haven’t been stuck. Knock on wood

I had zero complaints with my 2nd generation Tacoma. It hit a problem free 250k and I got a 3rd generation. My only complaint with it is when pulling my trailer with my SxS it will not stay in OD. 9mpg when towing.

Mine is a 13 with about 230k. This here is my only issue. And I want to get a bigger trailer and another ATV. I just don’t want to get rid of this thing

2010, 245K miles, on my 3th set of Duratracs and 5th set of U-joints. I've changed a wheel hub, batteries, brakes, and a plug on the AC blower motor. The U-joint issue was probably caused by oversized tires and towing a Kubota more than I should.

As others have said, it is not a large vehicle, and it is not a strong tow vehicle. I have since bought a 3/4 ton to haul animals and equipment, but I drive my Tacoma every day. It can get crowded on a trip to the camp with guns, gear, and kids when it is raining and everything is in the cab, but we make it work.

I also use it as my SxS on the deer lease since a real SxS with doors, windows, AC, heat, and radio would cost more than I paid for the truck. It is pretty low ground pressure with the 275/70/17 tires, but it can and has gotten stuck on a few occasions.

My kids think they are getting it when they start driving but there is no way in hell I'm giving that truck up!

I’ve got a 2010,never got it stuck but my grandson did.
Only thing I’ve ever replaced is a U-joint.Pulls my tractor and boat fine but they are both on smaller side.
