Weighed about 50 lbs, but pigs are so compact it was about the size of a 20 lb dog. Got her from a breeder in Maurice, LA. That's been years ago..

50#'s?

I was hoping more like 15#'s
They are so cute. Wish they could stay baby size.

poor ole roscoe... Lil bastard sure loved him some TV and some sofa. He would walk over corn to get to the dog food. Me and 34 had him trying to retrieve bumpers with the labs. He was almost able to fit them in his mouth until the bucket caught a hold of him.

PS. The old saying that you shite yourself when you die...its definitely true for pigs.

I gotta be honest. I never tried to tame a piglet, but I did my damndest to sneak one into a V-tail Bonanza from Wisconsin.

my friend/neighbor had one. He kept it in a dog crate. After it got used to people, he actually put a collar/leash on it. He would tie it to a stake and the thing would walk around like a dog. It died a couple weeks after he caught it though. It was caught by the dogs, so we think it may have had internal injuries.

Guy down the road kept a breeding pair he had trapped. He said it was shocking how fast they tamed down once they realized he brought food.

I have an endless supply of wild ones for the grill. Gonna give this one a whirl and if he doesn't work out, then he'll end up in the freezer with his cousins.
