Fuji Rubber Butt Cap
Based on the dimensions and the picture this may be what was originally on there. Should be here in a few days and we'll see.

only thing i do not like about mudhole is shipping is so high. I try to only order big batches of stuff at a time.

How long did it take you to actually build a good custom rod. Looks like its pretty tough to do.

that black tuna rod, was my first. it turned out great but i did have to unwrap a few rollers. I was pretty meticulous. It took a probably 8-10 hours to complete. ut after having built 10 or so rods i could probably do the rod in 2 hours. with the weave in another 2. Thats not counting glueing on all the real seat and everything that doesnt take much time not counting the epoxy setting.
I do find that the big offshore rods are easier cause you are working with big thread, rollers/eyes, rod diameter.
Small rods are more difficult cause everything is so small. Where the pros on youtube can wrap an eye in 2 mins will take me 10+ cause i go so much slower. I hand wrap and that have power wrappers.
So really if you can pay attention to detail it isnt a difficult task. the thread falls into place usually, and if not back up and try again.

Order Summary:
Subtotal $3.98
Shipping & Handling $3.95
Total $7.93
They weren't too bad, I did check on Amazon to see if I could Prime it. I checked a few other sites with the same part number, shipping through www.therodroom.com was $8.70

Thanks for those who recommended MudHole. My $2.00 part was a perfect fit. The $4.00 S&H came with a big arse sticker and a catalog so it definitely softened the wound.
