Ant beds...tonight is a good night to overturn....

Overturning ant beds just before dark before a hard freeze is a great way to decrease the numbers of ants the next season. I have done it several times over the years and it works better than poison. Just a fyi.

Their tunnels can be from 3-5 ft so no way I'd go dig holes with a shovel in my yard. I find Orthrene to be very effective.
