Saw G&H is having a sale on decoys, I have been wanting to buy some since they are made in America and tired of cheap decoys cracking and paint flaking off. This got me thinking what other hunting products are still made in America? I would rather pay extra to support American.

Origin hunting apparel. I haven't tried it just know they state that it is made in America and the materials are sourced from American companies too.

I have the Origin Stealth Wool hooie and pants, got them recently when they were running a sale for a pretty good deal. I was skeptical of the pants before purchasing but was suprised at how comfortable they were and how well they fit.

I think the stuff is well made, but might have some time to catch up to the overall fit and finish of products like Sitka. I expect that they will continue to expand their line and make improvements.

I have been looking at origins stuff for the past few months but I do not know anyone that has tried it.

Montana Knife Company. Have several and they’re great knives.

Slim pickings outside of the expensive stuff (guns scopes etc).

I think western mountaineering is all made in the US.

Forloh makes hunting/fishing/outdoor gear

FHF makes slings and binocular harnesses/chest rigs

There’s one or two more I looked at recently but can’t remember the names.

Filson - most of their product line is American made, especially their waxed gear.

Hill People Gear good bags, packs, and associated load carrying items.

Mystery Ranch military product line - good bags and packs.

A Filson jacket has been on my “when I get some extra money” list for a while. Just have a bunch of jackets at the moment.

I like everything I’ve bought from marsupial gear. I love my bino harness but they are pretty expensive. Cheaper stuff I like is the stretch belt, their rangefinder tether, and rangefinder pouch.

Went on duck hunt in north Oklahoma last weekend (not many birds up there) and stopped at the G&H factory on the way back down. I highly suggest going by if passing through, they have all seconds decoys for $10 a piece. Was able to pick up a few goose floaters and duck decoys. I’m really glad I held off on ordering saved quite a bit of money. Would’ve bought more but didn’t have enough room in the truck.
