Hi all,
Torn between two grills. I know they are both very different but the budget I'm working with will not enable me to have both.

I mostly cook Ribeyes and filets. I'd love to get around to smoking ribs. I just can't figure out which grill would be best.

Here is the Weber: LINK

I don't know the ceramic your are referencing, but it general a ceramic is a better cooker than a grill

$500 for a weber kettle seems steep to me. I have the $99 version and it does everything I need it to.
I would go for a Traeger if I was going to spend $5or 600 on a grill.

I've had the Akorn for 4 years now. It's been great.

Akorn

My dad has one at the camp and one at his house. He got them on sale for $200 or so. Have been great for 4-5 years or so, including one going 5' under water in the flood. I've cooked on them and primos/green eggs and can't tell the difference.
