And the winner goes to ALXTGR. WE have the deer scored at
158-162 3.5 yrs/old.
Havent killed the deer yet, giving it a few more years. There high fenced so it isnt going anywhere

Coincidence? Now he knows how those deer feel.

Tell your buddy high fence is an automatic 40 inch deduction, if it even qualifies to be scored in my book.

In his defense, supposedly Eagleford Shale brought a lot of drilling to the area, so the hunting got more competitive with the extra cashflow everyone around them had so you started seeing more and more high fence. He would love to have no fence but theyve had problems with mgmt in the past because of dick neighbors and poachers.

Bumpin this thread bc i got outta bannedland today :nana: I am the one that took the video, it was taken on my (dads) ranch. People hating on high fences obviously dont hunt in South Texas or own and manage a ranch....spending $15-20k+/yr on feed for your neighbor to shoot a 3 1/2 year old breeder buck will have you putting up a high fence in no time. all the high fence haters i shoot bigger deer

1,100 acres highfenced and 105 acres low fenced adjacent. How do you upload pictures? We have shot some damn nice deer on our low fenced place, but you can tell the difference between a free range deer down there and a deer that is raised on protein (most notably mass).

I got to the end of this video and I was wondering why the deer is still alive?
