FNX-45 is a very fine pistol. Super accurate and well balanced for a large pistol.

Who in the holy hell is downvoting a damn Colt 1911? Those are great. Made in the same factory by the same people that have been making them for decades. Not some third world or johnny come lately. I also love the Sig 1911's but the price has caught up w/ the quality. Used to be a bargain. Only thing i don't like about the Colt is the staked front sight but the one in your picture has improved sights.

I shoot a Sig 220 and like it. I recommend something with a 4 inch barrel and full size if you want to be able to have a decent grouping past 15 yards.

The Sig 220 and HK USP lines are great but pretty much the definition of high end.

Shot a Sig 1911 the other day. Navy seal edition or something like that. It WILL be my next gun.

Not even close. I have a Super Match P220 and don't consider it in the same ballpark as a Wilson,Nighthawk, or Ed Brown.
