I agree Remington has a long way to go. I'd like to see the 1100's or Wingmaster's being made to the standards they used to be held too. They built rock solid guns back then. Now Remington doesn't make a decent shotgun that I've held or shot

What I meant was the budget gun craze. Fact is that those budget rifles are making the venerable 700 look like the junk guns. For fricks sake, Remington. Get it together. Give us a frickin trigger. Give us a frickin stock. Give us a rifle that is capable of MOA accuracy out the box. Put a hefty price tag on it. I don't give a shite. Oh, and get out that Yankee communist state. Alabamas a good start, but they have room down here. Bring the whole mess. We'll fix you.

It's the quality control with shite labor force that has been under the impression that they were going to lose their jobs by Remington moving so they have been sabotaging their own product for years. That's the mentality of these arse hats.

I agree with ya man. I was glad to see them come here to North AL. Time will tell if they try to pull their heads out of their collectives arses and start building guns like we are used to coming from Remington. Use to be were you were proud to say you carried a Remington to the woods whether it was a nice 1100, ol' trusty Wingmaster,or a 700 that was lights out in the hands of a good shooter. Now its a crapshoot whether you'll get a good one or not. I have 3 buddies that own Versamax's and they all seem to like them. 2 of them love their's,while the 3rd is currently tying to trade his for a different duck gun. When I held them they fely clunky and the action was nowhere near as smooth as you'd expect from a $1300 shotgun. Bring back the Remington's that my dad and paw paw carried

Is this the change Remington needs to get back on track?

It's hard to say since none of use were at the meeting when the surprise firing/resignation came. Maybe the marketing guy was fired because he told everyone the same things many of y'all have said about QC? I don't think Rem's problems are w/ marketing.....it's w/ QC, research & devopment and their choices in deciding WHAT products to make.

Things won't get better for Rem until the powers have a serious soul searching session(s) and honest re-evaluation of the company as a whole...... Hopefully this happens, but......
