9mm host for can?

What does the OB think is the best 9mm host for a suppressor?
I would like to get a 9mm and add a can for my bedside. I had originally thought about a PPQ Navy, but have read bad things about use with a suppressor. I am now leaning towards a Sig p226 MK25. Does anyone have experience shooting the Sig MK25 suppressed? Other suggestions?

MK25 is nice. Any of the HK guns are nice as well. Glocks run well supressed. All personal preferance.

Mk25 is a gimmick. You're paying for the anchor on the side. Nobody needs phosphated intervals
Sig P226 tacops (4 20rd mags, tritium fiber optic front sight, SRT, threaded barrel)
HK VP9 with RCM barrel
PPQ Navy (they now include a separate recoil spring that improves function with cans)

I have the regular P226 and it's by far my most amazing pistol.

If your budget allows consider an HK USP tactical

Why not just call it a pistol?

I read some people were still having issues cycling even after the new spring.

I think the VP9 would be my choice if they made a factory threaded barrel. I saw someone had an issue with an aftermarket barrel affecting performance. Will have to look which one. When do you think HK will release a threaded barrel for the VP9?

Was looking at this along with the MK25. May go this route on your advice. Is the only difference between the tacops and the elite the extra magazine capacity? Do you carry p226 tacops?

I guess reading too many tacticool boards in doing research.

Ha, I had no idea people call them that. Tacticool guys are out of control.

Carson has some good answers. I'd like to add the fnx 9 to the list

+1
I think the FNX tactical would be a solid one. It also has the pre-cut slide for a reflex sight and I can tell you from experience that they are crazy fun. They also double up as already being suppressor-height to where you won't have to change a thing.
You could also consider getting an M&P core and getting a threaded 5" storm lake barrel for it. I would imagine S&W is already thinking of ideas for a factory threaded version as well.
