380's are not as much fun to shoot as larger guns

I'd argue that they suck to shoot.

I have a bodyguard for my CCW. Its fairly accurate and can be easily hidden on person. Plus side is it has a laser for dark/night applications. I bought this gun for concealment purposes only. Crappy trigger pull and expensive ammo are downfalls

Thanks to all for the input. I think I will change my mind and start looking at another 9mm. I have the ammo, but just can't hide my Barretta 92 anywhere other than the glove box in my truck. So be it. What would you recommend as a smaller 9mm ? Range is $500....

Great feedback. I have heard that on the Bodyguard... Cool gun, but may switch to 9mm now...

If you want to stick to single-stack 9mm...

M&P Shield
Kahr CW9
Kahr PM9
Kahr CM9
Ruger LC9
Sig P239 (Largest, much larger than some mentioned)

And there are more...

Watch my video about First Time Buyers. Even if you aren't a first time buyer, I directly address home defense, car gun, and CC. This will show you that any full sized gun will fit fine in your car if you don't plan to carry it 24/7.

I still haven't gotten my official card. Once I do that, I register with LSP then I'm golden. Who knows how long that will be though. I'll let you know, don't worry.

It'll be long before July. The instructor told me 4 to 8 weeks after the class and it was nearly a month ago so I'm expecting it anytime.

the walther ppk is a piece of shite. I like it because its james bonds gun, but outside of that it is a terrible gun and way overpriced.

It's an impractical gun. You can get a 9MM smaller and lighter with a more powerful and cheaper ammo.

I have the SW Bodyguard. Not much fun to shoot. I am sure it has it's place, but entertainment ain't it. If you need something to keep in your pocket as a last resort defensive firearm, I am sure it will do fine. But if you're trying to get good groups with it, you're going to be disappointed.
I also have a Sig 938 (the 9mm version of the 238) and I cannot give it enough praise. If I were you and insisted on a .380, the Sig would be on my very short list.
The pocket .380 are also stupid loud. I was at the range and when I switched from my 1911 .45 to the .380, two guys came over and said "What the hell was that"?
FWIW, IF you insist on the Bodyguard, I'll make you a deal on mine...

The Bersa Thunder is a little bigger and heavier than your standard .380. And, yes, fun to shoot. You can grab one for about $300-$325 right now.
