We used to wade fish down in Galveston down in teichman bay and catch nice specked trout. One evening we put a mullet on the end of a offshore rig just to see what might be out there. About 30 minutes later we pulled out a six foot long black tip. Fished off the back of the jet ski the rest of the summer.

While wading you don't have some Baw sticking his rod up behind you causing backlashes or slapping you in the noggin with a top dog.

I love wade fishing

My dad fished him a few weeks ago and they caught some nice fish... And of course he went and picked up some broke backs from him last week

See people wade fishing in Turners Bay often and that's the way they catch the biggest trout.
Not sure why. But it works

Fished BL easily over 100 times and never caught a shark.
Did hook into something giant that striped all my line out once. I suspected a shark but don't know.

Have caught many sharks off the beaches especially at Rutherford
