You can pretty much catch fish around pirates cove. Just fish the grass with various techniques.

I want to hit that ditch behind your crib with a vengeance Janky. I know that sucker has to hold something in it. Caught off the point just across that big cut from it though.

Its not a true "ditch", more of a very small cut on the grassline of the yard. I think we talked a little about it a few years ago.

Ill get your number from Jorconalx and text you later

Ok, I think no I know what you are talking about. That little cove bordering the south side of our property? There is some fish in there but I am not sure it replenishes all that much. I don't think there are any creeks that feed back there. The closest creek that I know of is two coves back heading towards the back of San Miguel. I could be wrong though.

We are headed up with a couple of skiffs sometime around Easter. Last year we got schooled and only landed a few fish.

For you all that spend a lot of time on that lake, how are the low water conditions affecting the shallow areas? We could pole skiffs around Tenn bay last year, and I'm being told it's down a few more feet from last spring.

A 10.55 was just posted. From Huxley in 8' on a jig.

Did you find this online, if so do you mind sharing? Just wondering how I can keep up with the lunkers this year.

Nice to see the North part of the lake getting some love. Everybody says to fish south. We have some family land around Huxley bay that we have never used. I was thinking about beginning to us it but I don't know anything about fishing up north.

Anybody know how the fishing generally is on the north part of the lake?

Caught 12 today. 10 came out of Housen. Water was very clear and 55 degrees. Majority came on a Jig in 8-12 of water. Biggest as 3.5 lb. Going to 1215 in the morning, I'll let y'all know how I do.
