Ouch

A bad day outdoors is better than a good day at work...

Dl, only went opening day, SUCKED. There is almost no water in any of my spots. This rain should have helped, but the wife has plans this Saturday, so I will be sitting around with the kids. Waiting to see what the rain is going to do Sunday.

Have y'all gotten much from these past two storm fronts? Looked like it might've gone north. I'm pretty much concentrating on Arkansas this year. Just picked up a duck boat for real cheap so I have drastically expanded my opportunities over there.

Most of it did miss us. I went by the mud hole this afternoon and it hadn't come up much. Need some long soaking rains.
I may have to check on the arky license if you got room.

$135 for out of state. Then another $100 for email permit, but not every email requires the permit.

I should have room most days, just depends on how much I can get away from the wife and kids. I'm already on some thin damned ice and I've only hunted one weekend...

Glad I wasn't the only one having a bad day. Wind was perfect but we just couldn't get it done. As you can tell, I almost forgot to get a pics.

What kind of duck is this? Mallard/Wood duck hybrid? The size of a woody and came in with a wood duck.
