Looking at this year range Tundra. Any owners here with any complaints? Major issues? The 2 I am looking at are 5.7's, and yes I know they love to drink gas.

Few things I have seen online is that everyone loves them and never had an issue. Just figured I would ask the OB.

I have a 2011 that has 250,000 miles on it. Change oil religiously and I have only had to change a water pump and had to change the AC compressor over the years which I consider extremely reliable. It doesn't get great gas mileage. I average around 16 mph mixed driving but its reliable and I use it just as a work truck now. Bought it new and now gonna see how many miles I can put on it. One thing I really like is that the back seat slides and reclines. Thats something that very few trucks have these days and makes it really comfortable for back seat passengers.

I’ve got a 2013 5.7 and it runs like a scalded dog. Gas mileage sucks, but I don’t use it that much since I have a company truck.

141,200 miles on it and it has done just fine.

Fast and ugly and out of control? Dead? Hairless? This one is new for me.

I have a 2011 5.7 with a 160k miles.

Bought it used in 2014 with 55k, and all I’ve ever done is routine maintenance. The leather seats are finally showing some wear after 13 years, but there’s not a single rattle on the interior.

Yes to all of what you listed. I got three tickets the first calendar year I had it.

I’ve got a 2011 with 180k. Other than routine maintenance, I changed out the alternator around 160k. It was a pain to do, but I did it myself since all the local shops wanted $750+ to do it.
I’ve not had this issue myself, but before buying one I would research and read about the cam tower leak that some of these trucks experience. My truck is 12 years old and still feels new to me. No rattles, squeaks, nagging minor issues that my past trucks have had at 120k + miles and I don’t have any intentions of getting rid of it any time soon.

I have a 2013 5.7, 4wd., as mentioned not great on gas, 16 mpg. All I had to do was alternator change. Great truck!

I have a 2012. Google "Tundra secondary air injection system failure". I'm on my second go with this issue. If you get one, check the VIN against Toyota's recall to make sure you're covered. The repair on the 5.7 is a multi-thousand dollar fix unless you run a bypass. Love my Tundra, but this design flaw of Toyota's is ridiculous.

I have one a couple years older than the window op gave, and have encountered this issue at 275k miles it only throws a code when I get her real wet off-road, but I hear the vac running high af the first 15 seconds after starting. I've duscussed the bypass with my mechanic, his comment was "it won't be any worse than replacing your starter." He's probably correct.

I had a wiring harness issue to where my truck would crank to 1500 rpm then die and wouldn’t be able to be started again. Ended up getting rid of the truck.

I have a 2013 5.7 4X4 with 170k and no issues other than regular items like brakes and tires. It has been a fantastic truck.

Only complaint is the transmission sucks for highway towing.

Wish it at least had the 6 speed.

2013 Tundra only 140k miles.
No issues other then "Tundra secondary air injection system failure" which I also had on 2008 Tundra I lost in flood of 2016. Easy installed bypass myself--no issues since.

I'm on the fence on this. Any issues getting inspection/brake tags? Sorry for the thread hijack.

2013 Tundra Crewmax with 110,000 miles.
Put new brakes and plugs. that's about it. Love it. My fourth Tundra. Will be keeping this one. I do need new headlamps.
