Not a real big guy but got my first bow buck tonight. Might have let him walk with a gun but with a bow at 20 yards I couldn't pass it up. Plus the place is getting sold out from under me a week from today. Time to kill em all.
Hunting in light rain/drizzle has to be the most productive time for me to hunt. Don't know why more people don't do it.

Congratulations, nice bow buck. I agree on the light rain and drizzle.

Too hard to track, if your shot isn't perfect. I find that hunting after a rain is very productive.

Congrats on the buck and I agree. A little bit of rain always seems to get the deer up and moving for some reason. Especially at night.

Was thinking the same thing. My brother lost a good deer a few years ago as the blood trail was quickly washed away by rain. I'm 100% confident we'd have him minus the rain. Darn shame...
To the OP, congrats thats a fine buck...
