Slick, I still have open beds in my cabin at Delacroix Lodge. It's 40/night.

That crawfish bread you whipped up last night was phenomenal.

Delacroix Lodge does have boat slips. We have at least two cabins rented there. May need to call and ask about the slip prices.

ETA: I just called and the wet slips come with the cabin rentals. So, there's at least the one that I have that won't be used that you are more than welcome to use.

One more ETA: Sweetwater and The Lodge are only between 1/4 and 1/2 mile from each other.

That is extremely odd about Sweetwater.

Between Brawl and Dlauw cabins at Delacroix Lodge we will have 2 slips open. I was planning on keeping my yak in one just for laughs, but yall can have it.

I've got a commercial fryer too. I could bring that and we could fry some of the fishies up one night.

I have a 2 basket fryer as well. Will probably have it in the truck just in case. I'll also bring the stuff to cook some white beans to go with either the jambalaya or fried fish.

You are more than welcome to fish with me, good sir. We will have the tunes crankin' and plenty cold beer.

I might try to make it down for one or two days if I'm up to it. I can just steal my brothers boat or pull one of mine. I don't think I could do much fishing out a pirogue.

I think a few people are only staying Friday night, so we can probably make good use of the Jambalaya that night.

Saturday night mix up something with some reds and trout?

Sounds good I'll get the stuff to make on for about 25 people and I'll brings some lil ziplocks if people want to take one with them to eat while fishing the next day.

They do not have a whole lot of waterfront property... They have the backdown and a dock down each side. The bait & tackle shop take up the rest of their waterfront property...

I just spent the last hour or so reading back through the EJW benefit threads in Flair Chop's stickied thread. I have shed several tears the last hour doing so. EJW would be fired up for this trip the last weekend of May and would already have his reels spooled with new line.

I am officially fired up to be able to spend time with some of you guys that weekend. I don't care if I even see a fish or not.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I could see EJW in the Big Tuna tearing it up.

Now that 34 is cooking jambalaya Sat night, I may consider staying both nights.
