Forgot to mention I almost crapped my pants today. Was cruising along the grass in the old ship channel, trying to get some reprieve from the wind, and a damn 6' gator was sunning on the bank and jumped out right when the bow of my yak go to him. I almost flipped.
Neither of us was aware of the other until we were about 6' away from each other.

Please tell me this is clerical mistake, because if true, this my worst nightmare and I may not be able to attend the OB party because he and I will have battle royale

I've been hesitant to say of I was going to do this trip or not but I just got word from Roman at River Less Paddled in LC that my cuda has shipped. It should be in this week! So now, I'm in. I'm keeping the beard until then so if any pictures are taken, I will be incognito. Anyone planning on coming in on Friday and leaving Sunday? Trying to figure out if I need to book a cabin or buy into one of y'all's.
Also need a suggestion for boat power for my phone/gps.

Can't do may 31 weekend. I'll be in the keys and Miami that weekend.

As far as phone/gps power, are you looking for a battery system to keep your phone charged?

Yeah, I use the gps for an app that follows me on biking/boating trips to tag spots, etc. I'd like to use some kind of a solar panel but I'm not against charging a battery as long as it could be relatively waterproof. I don't need to run a fishfinder, just my phone and some Bluetooth speakers.

I dont have a cabin at the moment. I was going to wait until it got closer to see who had open spots, who needed a full cabin, etc.
