Yea. I live in Natchitoches and have my whole life. I've heard good things about the kid. Something stupid that shouldn't have happened from what I understand.

Night fishing is common on Cane River Lake, would imagine it's the same on Sibley.
I have no idea if he was night fishing--just saying it's a possibility.

Lots of folks hang out at that launch and start a fire and drink a few beers.
Several different versions of stories floating around already but the main point is it was a kid around the same age as dylan that stabbed him after some sort of altercation for unknown reasons to me. Truly tragic for the poches.

Very sad deal. Stabbed to death has to be a terrible way to go.

The launch is an area known for hanging out and drinking and just shooting the bull. It was also a popular place to fight back in HS. There was a gathering there and it was a bunch of kids being kids and having a good time til the incident. They were just going fishing, it was the middle of the night.

Wonder if he was sinking brush piles? Its the time of year to do it, end of January...Night fishing this time of year isn't optimal imo, but hey, might have been...I just don't do it till it gets really hot, but to each their own...
