My old man saw 15 deer this morning. Small bucks and does, before today hadn't seen more than 2-3 deer a hunt. Heading up there as soon as i'm off.

I saw tons of deer on my way home from work this morning..

In other news. My hunting plans for the weekend fell through. Was supposed to be hunting Angelina Farms, but no more. Sucks. I hate walking in at sherburne

I'll be pretty close to there. I won't be duck hunting, but I usually have a good idea of how they are flying from my deer stand.

Back at it Amite County.
Set up a ground blind I haven't used in years in an oak bottom on a new piece of property. Didn't have time to scout just found some trails and droppings and set up shop.

Ground blind on edge of hardwood bottom.

Busted turkeys walking in. 1/2 hour in I have 2 dogs chasing deer around my stand. I hate people who don't contain their animals. My hunt is screwed.

Got busted by a dink 4 pt a few minutes ago. Guess he was looking right up the lane when I moved to get my binoculars to see what he was

Usually don't see shite until nearly dark so maybe a good sign.

Is that a food plot at the end of your shooting lane where the camera is pointed?
