Hang with it. I'm in the office for a Christmas dinner, but after that I'll join the wetass club. Good luck

Fine buck that made the wetass worth it. Too bad about the left side.

Yeah, and the one that ran out right after I shot could have been his twin but with a full rack.. but hey I'm thankful....

Ty, no worries about the rack, I have a couple nice ones mounted. It's all about the experience...

Downshift, y'all seeing any rutting yet? I'm not that far from y'all, generally speaking.

Wouldn't mind going walk the swamp to jump something but it's too damn hot and high water won't be easy to navigate. Also didn't bring anything but white cans to drink. Getting restless in this box. Grabbing the waders and going into the thick and nasty spots tomorrow morning.

Yea. We saw as many bucks as does last week I think. This storm front is going to end it though. The water is high as eagle pussy right now. They probably won't rut again till February.

If we get as much rain as they're calling for I wouldn't be surprised if the season was closed. The south wind is kicking arse right now.

Yeah the south wind is killing us too. I went drain the water out of my boat that I leave back there to cross a canal and it was already up about 8". No one has seen much all season. Our deer have disappeared for a few weeks now (since the water went down).

The 80* temps don't help. Can't get to any stand without being drenched in sweat smelling like shite. Might as well stalk north to south if you feel like contending with the cotton mouths.
