Well good luck. Hope you get him. You definitely put in more legwork than anybody I know.

Curious about the salinity. A lot of rain dropped over there lately.

Good luck in the woods guys, will join y’all next week. Hoping to catch the rut in full swing.

I don't know about that. After I get done hunting i'm going to have to pack this non functional Buddy heater all the way back to the SxS. Then lug in a replacement next trip. #whateverittakes

Run the tag end back through the loop to create this loop. Then just run your tag end through like normal. It just helps hold tension on your tether so when you stand up it doesn’t slip.

Not much going on here. Had a doe come through earlier. Woods have been very quiet other than that.

I enjoy reading these posts, but can someone tell me what “IST” stands for? Seems it should be “ITS” for “in the stand”. Thanks!

Huh, I thought it was "in stand today". Same thing I guess. For me it could also be "in some tree".

Hearing things, just seeing birds and squirrels. Want to at least scope something today.

Solid morning. Big single doe came through. Didn't go into a shooting lane. First time seeing a single doe in this spot in 2 seasons. Normally I see groups.

Then a spike came through 10 minutes later nose to the ground. Followed her path. Saw another small buck about 90 yards away. Didn't come through.

Hopefully the afternoon/evening will be even better.

And someone's GD hounds are making a butt ton of noise north of me. That or coyote orgy. Maybe it'll wake something up

My kind of hunting. When I still hunt at our place in Caddo, I park at an oil well about 20 yards behind my stand.
