Sitting with 12 yr old daughter where she saw a good amount of deer yesterday evening. Pinch point between pond and swamp.

Of course the place we didn’t go just had a shooter buck there but we couldn’t have got in there without bumping him I don’t think. Good luck everyone

Shorts on, heading to lift for a scouting day on big lake. Skeeters should be thick in hackberry this morning.

Every time I think I’m done for the year, I get a pic of a nice buck at like 8:30 am and now I’m getting up at 3:30 am and hiking 2.2 miles back to this swamp and hanging in a tree no bigger than my fist.

I love this shite.

Good luck gents

Set up about 100 yards away from where I shot the doe yesterday, a little closer to their core area. Hoping the big Juan slips up today.

Scouted a new tree so I was here way early screwing around. I think this spot will do. Heard a fawn a bit ago. Does only for me.

Yesterday had the biggest buck I’ve seen at this place sneak up 25 yards behind me. When I finally caught a glimpse of him I couldnt turn around. He hit my trail and stopped cold and went back the other way.

Tell me about that knot on your tether? Why do you do that instead of just passing the tag end through the loop? I just purchased a saddle and I’m trying to figure the ins and outs of it.
