I suck as a guide. Been in the stand 10 minutes for an evening hunt and a coyote came in to 40 yards and stopped. Step son lined him up and "click". I forgot to load the damn rifle 
He's kinda mad at me since a coyote is at the top of his wish list. Hopefully a big boar or nice buck will help me make it up to him

Today is the first I've hunted this season. I want meat, but I also want to kill something with my slug gun before my trip to Illinois week after next. If something comes within 100 yards, it is getting a slug threw its way.

Mainframe 12 with 17 scoreable points. Could gross 170"+ as a 4.5 yo. Hopefully the rut is kind to him.

We had a great morning on ducks and geese this am. Had a 5 man duck limit pretty quickly and killed a few bonus sky carp too. Good to see ducks coming in after seeing so few yesterday.
