Was checking game cams with pops and I had the bungy cord in my hand around the tree and it slipped out and popped him in the mouth

Sitting in box blind the wife and I and the boys built as a family last summer. My 5 yr old is trying to learn how to use binos. Lol. So frustrating in the begining lol

So true! I remember when my son was about 5 we were in stand and some deer came out close. I grabbed binocs and whispered "be still, don't move". I was glassing and he started fidgeting and when I looked his face was beat red - he had been holding breath, thought that is what I meant when I said be still, don't move. He could not hold it any longer, gasped for air, deer ran off, I laughed, he laughed - good times for sure though!

He fell asleep with in 45 min in the stand. I woke him when I saw a small 4 pt right at dark. He nearly fell out of the chair.
