Does anyone know where I can get a single-shot 10ga from? My son wants one for turkey hunting, but I can't seem to find one anywhere...

Single shot? No clue

Only 10ga I've seen that are still produced are the Browning Gold and BPS.

H&R is the only single shot one I know of. They are going out of business iirc though. You could find a used one in the internet.

It would absolutely suck to shoot a turkey load out of a 10 gauge single shot.

Modern 3.5 inch guns have made a10 guage obsolete. For turkeys at least.

There's an H&R single shot 10g w/32" full choke barrel on Gunbroker for $275

12ga 3.5" is plenty sufficient for turkey.

I have a 10ga BPS and a couple 3-1/2" 12ga not much difference in the load sizes in factory ammo and much wider ammo selection and uses with the 12. I agree a turkey load from a single shot would be punishing.

To find the 10ga single is probably going to require searching for used gun. Might could inquire at the Cabelas used gun counter as well as look around some pawn shops.

Jesus my 12 gauge I've had forever kicks like a mule. I can't image what a 10 gauge full choke would feel like.

Maybe so, but I would still want a big gun to shoot 10 gauge (in other words, not a light, single shot) - probably more geese taken by 12s these days - just on cost and every duck hunter has a 12 gauge. 10s are mostly in the hands of hardcore turkey and goose hunters. 10 gauge is a boutique cartridge in the 21st century - like 16 gauge was in the 1990s.
