I don't know if you mean my post but, yea, I'm stretched thin and I know it's a last ditch effort. I sold oil & gas seals (i.e. o-rings, mud motor boots, packing elements, etc.)

Honestly hope the best for you. Not sure how someone can be sarcastic to a person in need. If you're asking here you're running out of options. As a BD guy myself I can feel your pain reading your post. Especially someone who just built and thought their career was stable. I wish I could help, but I don't think I can do anything here. I hope the best for you, and your family, though.

Add me on LinkedIn. I got something for you. Search my last name - I'm in the Baton Rouge area.

This.

I had a shite job, created a profile, and posted my resume on there.

I started following companies I wanted to work for.

Started getting calls for interviews and landed a great job.

Make sure you follow the company and actually post on their linked in page.

It helps. Trust me.

If you have you have the credentials to sell health insurance, I don't think many of the bigger companies turn down independent agents. That is, if you're not needing benefits/insurance of your own.

Look into Merchant Services positions. Outside B2B sales and you can make bank if you kill it. Good luck to you

This. Recruiters are constantly scanning LinkedIn and reaching out. If they don't find you, search for recruiters in your area on LinkedIn and email/ message blast them. Can't hurt

O&G sales in Houston is bad right now

Only guys I know getting hired have business in their pocket and they are peddling influence not products or services

Training budgets have been cut so if you don't know their product line or services they aren't training
