I just recently discovered this one that helps me a lot. When I'm incredibly busy or craving fast food - I can get my fix or fast meal while limiting the damage.
I get the baconator at Wendys, hold the mayo, and I throw the bun out and swap in two pieces of whole wheat bread of my own. Obviously, you can do this without any bread at all also. I don't think it's a huge secret that a bunless burger isn't so bad. But if you're like me and still want the bread, the swap saves 290 calories and 10g of carbs. I had never realized what a difference that bun made.

I probably do this once a week, it's a great meal to eat 1-2 hours before a workout. 600 calories, 61g protein, 27g carb, 54g fat.

Prepare several days worth of food at a time so you just have to grab it on the way to work, dont have to fix anything when you get home from work or when you are tired.

Go to bed early. You avoid eating late and you actually lose more weight with a good night's sleep.

I found that by switching to double cheeseburgers I get a higher percentage of protein and actually feel fuller.

Why hold the mayo? Actually their mayo does suck (use processed Omega-6 heavy oils) so you should add your own homemade or avocado oil mayo, since you're already swapping the bun.
Same goes for "cheese"--their stuff is basically chemically solidified veggie oil w artificial flavors and colors.

That's still an assload of carbs, but if you're skipping fries then not too bad. Try Ezekiel bread ($3.99 a loaf at most reasonable places-- NOT Calandro's). Low glycemic index. And/Or do half a "bun." Hardee's will do a nice lettuce wrap (I dunno if Wendy's can pull it off).

Craving a burger now! There's a grass-fed burger joint down the street that does a killer bunless burger, brisket chili, deviled eggs, and collard greens cooked in bacon.

Leangains is probably the place for you.

You can starve yourself for various intervals if you hit your macros during your feeding "window." If you eat a 2000 calorie meal like a fatty and feel guilty, just don't eat again for 16 hours.

I always go to McDonalds for lunch. Not to eat, but to watch fatasses eat. After that my diet and excercise motivation is through the roof

Typical OT.

Here's another tip - eat a plain chicken breast with steamed broccoli for every meal.

Point is to try to find a way to still indulge and not totally wreck your diet. Yeah a baconator isn't the healthiest food, but if you order it without fries, a coke, and make some tweeks to make it healthier - it isn't that bad for you.

There are plenty of other examples where you can eat at fast food places and not ruin your diet. Ground beef and fat are good for you. A burger without a bun, no fries or coke or other sides, isn't really that bad (if at all. Depends on your goals and macro needs. It will be high in sodium. And yes there are healthier sources to get your macros from)

At one point I lost like 20 lbs eating only McDonalds Hot n Spicy McChickens....

2 of those and I wouldn't get hungry for hours... 2 for lunch 2 for dinner and I didnt eat breakfast... thats like 1200 calories a day and I still had energy to play basketball 4 times a week.
