Honestly not sure, aside from the Human Fund.

I have my issues with Red Cross. Want to suggest some corporate giving recipients. I'm not in region and work has few ties to Gulf Coast.

Sugggestions would be appreciated.

TIA

Compassion louisiana llc.

I bought a couple salt lamps so refugees don't have to deal with the constant ringing in their ears from electrical disturbance.

Episcopal Diocese of Texas.

Harvey Relief

We did a lot of work last year with the Diocese in Denham Springs. The money/supplies went to anyone in need then and still helping out now.

Samaritans Purse and 8 Days of Hope. I am not a huge Red Cross fan, but they seem to be the main partner with Houston and the existing Shelters from what I can tell.

I fly into Corpus Christi in the morning and will be working with my official job for the next 2-3 weeks between CC and New Orleans. 8 Days has plans for their food truck in Texas, but when they send a work crew down I am going to do my best to come down with them.

Be safe everyone.

I bypass the organizations due to not trusting anyone and donate directly to a family that either I or someone close to me knows that are in need.

I watched a family that consisted of a dentist and doctor form a gofundme last year when their 600k house flooded. They posted pics of their family at Disney World two weeks later on fb, which I felt was complete bullshite.

I give directly to people I know need the help. I'll also be spending my weekends helping neighbors and family members gut and clean their houses for the next several weeks as soon as I can get back into my house.

SBC Disaster Relief. They will be there for months to come cooking meals and cleaning up. Feeding units, shower trailers, Laundry units, chainsaw teams and mudout units to help clean out flooded houses. They do it all.
