The chances of you marrying your girlfriend and the level of pissed off she would be if she found out you knew all along would play a factor for me... But I'm one of those guys that can keep a secret, but as soon as it's out, I struggle with denying that I knew beforehand.

But if he keeps his mouth shut and it comes out after the fact that he knew, he may lose his future wife... Granted, that's unlikely, but possible.
But I guess after thinking about it, if she's the kind that would flip her shite enough to end a 3 year relationship over something this minor, the you don't need that in your life anyway.
I just don't think it's as cut and dry as some do. How well you keep a secret and where you see it going with the girlfriend would be factors for me though.
