1. Tony Acardo--Smart man. One of the few mobsters who died of natural causes at age 86.
2. Al Capone--For dreaming the big dream and achieving it--for a while. For being a bigger than life criminal and getting away with it--again, for a while.
3. Lucky Luciano--Organized the modern mob, replacing the capo di tutti capi system, with the Commission, the New York crime families we came to know and love so well.
