That we taught them: Fire is hot.

That they learned the hard way: Don't get out of the bathtub by climbing on the wet edge.

We're still working on the first:

"Go to sleep at night or daddy's going to get fired and hang himself in the closet."

I can't remember the first one, but we are going through an issue at school now. He's in Pre-K and in his planner that he brings home every day the teacher either gives a happy face for a good day or a sad face and an explanation why. He knows that if he gets a sad face, he is grounded for the day. No videogames, no going outside, no TV, etc. Well yesterday he came home with a sad face but the issue that the teacher informed us of was that the other kids in the class kept talking to him and kept distracting him.

So I had to sit him down and explain that he needs to tell them to please stop talking to him so that he doesn't get in trouble. If they kkeep talking to him to try his best to ignore them. If that doesn't work & If they do not stop talking to him, then he needs to raise his hand and ask the teacher to please move him. I'm not sure how it's going to go but I think I will call his teacher after school lets out to see how his day went.
